POST EXPERIENCE: IT WAS SHOWER OF RAIN @ EXPERIENCE 2008

The much talked about biggest show of the year has finally come and gone, the anxiety is over and everyone has one thing or the other to say, the organisers actually lived UP to their promises and we concert goers can't but thank Pastor Paul for living up to our expectations.

WHAT WAS HOT:

OGANISATION: I have personal reservations astounching the unprecedented night, the car park arrangement supecede my expectation, the security was excellent, the venue arrangement lightening are all well structured.

ARTISTS:

Tye tribbett was at his best perfomance and i must confessed he actually kept me on my feet all through his perfomance, he put so much energy into his music that almost made me jump down from where i sat. he is unargualbly one of the top three for the night.

Mary Mary: they never disapointed their fans expecially the female ones, they were full of energy through out their performance, they kept everybody standing all through.

MidNight Crew: They are hot and nothing less, they gave more than we expected from them, i personally felt bad when they had to go. they were the bomb.

Kirk Franklin: it was time for worship and trust him never a dull moment, time to come close to God but the truth was that i wasn't in the auditorium, i dey outside.

Fred Hammond: His Ministration was as intimidating as his profile, he knows the rudiment of music to the letter. he also kept everyone standing all through.

Chevelle Franklyn: this jamaican brought out the best in every concert goer, despite her sieze, you can't but be amazed by how she lifted herself easily, good voice, she held everyone spell bound when she sang Nigerian lyrics and even Igbo songs. i was touched. others were Don Moen,Kurt Karr, Isreal Houghton, Donnie mcclurkin.

WHAT WAS NOT: i believe you all agree with me that MEGA SCREEN should be scolded severely for that blunder they made, you can't beleve it through ut the night one of their screen and even the biggest mal-functioned all through the night. i was so unfortunate to be sitting where the screen was suppose to serve. that was pure negligence and unprofessional.

MEDICAL ATTENDANCE: i commend the structure that was placed on ground but, professional could have been employed to do the job. i really apreciate those people any way they are cool.

Even DEKUNLE FUJI: Men, what is bad , poor, wack, the worst performance of the night, his stage lacked co-ordination, i guessed he suffered from over anxiety, or maybe that was the biggest event he has ever attended. he had problem identifing the crowds demand, hence even when he was to sing his popular demand he got it all wrong. honestly he was too wack.

The rain was no barrier at all it only brought the concert to a stop but trust them Nigerians will always remain the best when the issue is adaptation, concert goers really had swell time in the rain singing while does under cover wish they could also joined, so we started our own crusade, but trust lagos it was'nt long before bottles started flying up and down, this was term a peaceful and love exchange. if you were not at the event and you felt you are luvcky cos' it rained then you are mistaken the rain was part of the concert.

Where was Lagos State Deputy Governor, Sarah Sosan?

Gt the Giutarman, though you may have a different perspection to this but this young guy is a conmbination of talent and creativity, The R&B vocalist, real name Gbemiro Olaolu Oluwatokunboh Akigbogun who hails from Ogun State was born in September 1984 in London, UK. meet him one on one and you will understand what am talking about.

DaGrin:

Simply called Olaitan, had his secondary school education in Meiran Community Secondary School, Meiran, He is one of Nigerian artist that has create a niche for themselves, he does his own kind of music yoruba rap irrespective of what people have to say, he is also one of few young artist that has not forgoten where they started from, though presently residing in Magodo estate, Grin will always give you new things, just check out YQ featuring Dagrin and you will understand what am saying.

Wande Coal

Born Wande Ojosipe on the 18th of October 1985, 1st child in a family of 2 Wande like most great musicians started singing in the teenage choir at his church. he got his break in the Nigerian entertainment industry as a dancer. the Ololufe crooner got his break after being signed by Mo hits records. won Hip-Hop Award Next Rated Award. Wande Coal is the all Nigerians expectially the female folks talk about, take him to a show and am sure you will be smiling to the bank.

Tu-Step

My name is Abayomi Olanrewaju Agunbiade, but my street name is Tu-Step. I am from Ogun State.
I come from a musical background; my Father was a producer for some Juju artists, so for me music has always been there. I really started out in music as a hobby. I later discovered that music was my calling and no matter how I tried to run or hide, it was just there calling me. When I started out in music professionally, back in 2001, I met stiff opposition from my Father; because he knew how hard the game was and he did not want that for me. I have risen above all odds now and I am taking Nigerian music to the next level.

MP

MP was part of the JJC and 419 Squad which was a Naija hiphop group based in the UK made up of JJC, Smokey, So Simple and himself. They had hits like Gbao, Atide and Kilonsele and won numerous awards both locally and internationally.MP was born Brent Adewunmi Gbadebo in Iperu Remo, Ogun state twenty something years ago to a polygamous family with his father having 13 wives and 40 children. However he is of African and Caribbean heritage because his mum comes from Trinidad and Tobago and his dad is Nigerian. MP has been obsessed by music ever since he was young. He grew up listening to 2pac, Biggie,Jay Z and Fela. if you have heard pasa pasa then you will have nothing to doubt, I personally love this music.

TERRY G

Born Amanyi Oche Gabriel to a business man dad and a school proprietress, the Hiphop R&B singer/songwriter and producer started out his music career in the church as a pianist. His decision to follow the secular music path didn’t augur well with his parents thus frustrated by their criticisms and pressure to further his education, When Terry G got signed on to Bluemoon Entertainment, he employed the production and vocal skilz of his former faze affiliate, Terry G. Impressed by his performance, the label’s C.E.O had to land him a recording contract. a regular face at clubs like Options @ Opebi Allen is another young artist that add alot value to his numerous fans.

I will be bringing you the concluding part of this report to you soonest.

Luv u
